In the wake of COVID-19 pandemic, there is acute learning loss among students. In order to fill the learning gap among students, it is necessary to utilize information technology which helps to raise test scores, improves student learning, enhances literacy, boosts attentiveness and increases comprehension and to name a few. Teachers could see improvement in their classrooms by using Smart Boards which increases students' engagement. Using smart technology in the classroom can help to interact with students, to enhance classroom transaction which requires low maintenance, to integrate various other technologies, to understand and learn better.


In view of the above, it is planned to conduct Smart Board Training to teachers to enhance their classroom interaction on 17.02.2022 from 10 am to 5p.m through online mode. The training aims to upskill the teachers in the schools with access to Smart Boards across the State and equips them with the basic knowledge of using interactive Smart Boards.


Instruction to be followed for training

The training is to be conducted through Hi-Tech labs located in High and Higher secondary schools. The list of schools to be participated is enclosed herewith The schools have to be available with Computers, Projectors and internet facility Schools without aforesaid facilities should join in the nearby school Hi-Tech labs. The BRTEs concerned will allocate the teachers to the nearby school Hi-Tech labs All the teachers taking up the assessments during training are considered to be the attendees of the training. There is no separate requirement to mark the attendance. The hands-on practice time is scheduled for the teachers to practice the knowledge they have learned from the video modules. There will not be any specific assignments
